He has been a postgraduate professor of maritime insurance and international maritime conventions at the Universidad Sergio Arboleda (Santa Marta) and at the Universidad de San Buenaventura (Cartagena), postgraduate professor of maritime and land carrier liability, in the Specialization in Insurance Law at the Universidad Externado (2023).

Extensive experience in insurance litigation, civil liability, maritime law and maritime insurance, has been external lawyer of companies in the insurance sector, Member of the Colombian Association of Insurance Law – Acoldese -, the Colombian Institute of Civil and State Liability – IARCE and the Colombian Association of Maritime Law – Acoldemar -, thesis on Maritime Insurance published by Universidad Javeriana, publication of articles in specialized journals.

With six years of experience in litigation matters related to national and international economic groups, companies and individuals, his professional practice has focused on the processing of the extraordinary appeal for cassation, obtaining successful results.

He is a professor of the General Theory of Procedure at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana.

He has been an attorney in litigation matters for national and international companies in proceedings before the civil, contentious-administrative and constitutional jurisdictions.
